Gillian Golding has an MA in Fine Art Printmaking from Chelsea School of Art and currently works in Fine Art Printmaking at Goldsmith’s College London and as a sessional lecturer at the University College for the Creative Arts, Maidstone.
She exhibits her work nationally and internationally and has won several awards most recently the Aberystwyth School of Art Gallery and and Museum Purchase Prize from the Originals Exhibition 2005.
As a member of Pierre Presse she helps organise stone lithography courses and exhibitions at the Galerie Apart in France.
Working in all the printmaking mediums her work follows in the tradition of comic satire
operating in the hinterland between high and low art where distinctions between ‘popular’ and ‘culture’ do not exist. |
